Stenn are looking for a Senior Risk Analyst. Could this be you?

 

We are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst for Digital Commerce to take a lead role in the development and refinement of our new revenue-based financing (RBF) product tailored for digital commerce enterprises. In this senior position, you will report directly to the Head of RBF - Risk and collaborate closely to shape and enhance the risk management framework for this cutting-edge product. This role offers the opportunity to not only influence the direction of our RBF product but to also set industry standards in digital commerce financing.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Strategically develop, refine, and oversee the implementation of advanced risk management strategies for the RBF product.
  • Lead the underwriting decision-making process, utilizing an in-depth understanding of RBF, advanced risk analytics, and financial modeling.
  • Design and implement sophisticated automated risk assessment models to proactively identify and mitigate risks in financial transactions.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with the go-to-market team to ensure the successful scaling of the RBF product within the eCommerce industry.
  • Engage in high-level collaboration with product, technology, and data science teams to seamlessly integrate risk management throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Spearhead product structure enhancements, championing a rigorous risk management perspective from the product’s inception.
  • Direct and manage cross-functional projects, emphasizing risk considerations and ensuring they are integrated into all decision-making processes.
  • Provide leadership in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on risk exposure, making strategic recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Remain abreast of and anticipate industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact RBF products, adapting strategies accordingly.

 

How do you know if you are the right candidate?

 

  • Proven experience in fintech or financial services, with a strong preference for candidates who have thrived in fast-paced, innovative environments.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leveraging data to inform risk management strategies.
  • Advanced communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive team performance and make decisive, independent judgments in a dynamic setting.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis tools 
  • Deep understanding of non-traditional financing models, particularly in an eCommerce context
  • Experience using Python, and Linear / Logistic Regression and/or other statistical techniques.
