Stitch is a developer-first API startup with a mission to deeply connect financial systems with the wider world. We provide an API which allows third-party apps and websites to interact with their user's financial accounts in ways that unlocks the ability for companies across Africa to build innovative technology products quickly.

Role:

We are looking for a Product Partnerships Associate to join the team and ensure we are able to operationalise and optimise our product partnerships. We work closely with external partners, and you would work directly with them - the majority of whom are in banking operations. Your role will focus on managing operational requirements with our product partners and ensuring smooth delivery of services and capabilities. An ideal candidate will have the experience and initiative to work closely with Product, Legal, Finance and Operations teams to support our portfolio of product partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all the operational requirements and administrative processes for Stitch to maintain banking and fintech product partnerships
  • Own the process of onboarding new partners and work cross-functionally to get the necessary information and approvals in a timely and organised manner
  • Escalate high priority issues to partners and own the resolutions and comms
  • Document and track key milestones and deliverables with partners and actively flag and manage areas of concern
  • Maintain knowledge of the stakeholder map at partner organisations
  • Work closely with Product team to identify and source new product partnerships

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience working in Business or Corporate Banking or Financial Services
  • Prior experience in a client or partner facing role
  • Process driven, organised and resourceful
  • Learn quickly, operate with autonomy, and work across teams to get things done in uncertain or rapidly-evolving environments
  • Comfortable navigating through technical requirements and translating those into partnership solutions that can be executed quickly
  • Able to navigate complex large organisations and finding ways to quickly build trust with external parties
