The StraitsX Commercial Team is the Business Development and Sales Business Unit focused on engaging top tier institutional and enterprise clients while providing avant-garde solutions that bridge the fiat and Web3.0 needs today.
What You Will Do

Client Acquisition & Management:
- Develop and execute targeted strategies to acquire new merchant and corporate accounts in the payments space.
- Foster and nurture strategic relationships with key decision-makers at new and existing clients, collaborating effectively across internal teams as needed.
- Employ a consultative, solution-oriented approach, demonstrating a firm understanding of the payments and blockchain space to effectively address client needs and successfully close deals.
- Proactively address client inquiries and resolve concerns related to StraitsX's solutions, prioritizing client satisfaction and fostering long-term retention.
- Sales Performance & Analysis:
- Reach out and engage with top Enterprise Companies, Payment Firms, Merchants to build a sustainable pipeline of new accounts, leading the sales cycle from pitching, onboarding, to closing, ensuring a first class client experience throughout.
- Own, monitor and track sales to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies for optimal performance for existing clients.
- Collaboration & Support:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams like Compliance, Product, Operations, and Management to streamline sales operations and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends, market shifts, competitor activity, and new product developments within the digital asset, blockchain and payments landscape.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the banking, fintech or blockchain payments industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive B2B environment, particularly within the digital payments space.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify sales opportunities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for innovation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
