About the Role

This role spearheads client acquisition and growth for StraitsX's pioneering digital payment solutions. You are a senior member of the Payments team and will be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and crafting data-driven strategies to propel StraitsX's position within the dynamic digital asset and blockchain payments landscape. You will work closely with the Head of Commercial and internal teams from Product, Operations, Compliance and Legal to craft, design and execute winning solutions to fit the needs of our Enterprise clients.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute targeted strategies to acquire new merchant and corporate accounts in the payments space.
  • Foster and nurture strategic relationships with key decision-makers at new and existing clients, collaborating effectively across internal teams as needed.
  • Employ a consultative, solution-oriented approach, demonstrating a firm understanding of Payments, APIs and the Blockchain space to effectively address client needs and successfully close deals.
  • Exhibit a robust network of clients and prospects in the Payments space
  • Proactively address client inquiries and resolve concerns related to StraitsX's solutions, prioritizing client satisfaction and fostering long-term retention.
  • Reach out and engage with top Enterprise Companies, Payment Firms, Merchants to build a sustainable pipeline of new accounts, leading the sales cycle from pitching, onboarding, to closing, ensuring a first-class client experience throughout.
  • Own, monitor and track sales to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies for optimal performance for existing clients.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams like Compliance, Product, Operations, and Management to streamline sales operations and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends, market shifts, competitor activity, and new product developments within the digital asset, blockchain and payments landscape.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 7 years of experience in sales, preferably within the banking, fintech or blockchain payments industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive B2B environment, particularly within the digital payments space.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify sales opportunities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for innovation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
