Within the organization, the Quant team is responsible for developing the models and tools required for trading a wide range of sports. Emphasis on using the best possible techniques and technologies to enable continuous improvement of price accuracy, performance, and content – with a particular focus on soccer.
We’re focused on creating the best product for the company and are looking for people who are keen to learn, gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and enjoy solving mathematical problems.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a mathematical background;
- Has computer programming skills in technologies such as Python or Golang (which we work in) or languages such as Matlab or R;
- Has excellent communication skills, able to understand and translate complex technical information to others;
- Is passionate about Mathematical modeling;
- Feels comfortable collaborating with various teams;
- Has a strong work ethic with a drive for completing high-quality work.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in the sports betting industry, sports trading, or sports modeling;
What you'll be doing:
- Research Sports and the distributions involved in modeling them;
- Develop mathematical and statistical models that will price the core and derivative markets for those Sports;
- Provide performance analysis through backtesting and optimizing model output;
- Collect and analyze market data in order to aid model development;
- Create and price new products to supplement existing Sports;
- Build trader tooling in order to maximize the efficiency of the trading operation;
- Collaborate with engineering resources to enable seamless integration of any provided solutions.
