As a Public Affairs & Communication Officer at Napoleon Sports & Casino, you will play a key role in strengthening and refining our communication strategy. Together with our communications lead, you will be responsible for enhancing our media presence and effectively conveying our message to various stakeholders. You will also contribute significantly to our internal communications, ensuring seamless information flows both externally and internally.
Your Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong press relations, providing journalists with insights and policy information, supporting them with factual context.
- Coordinate and achieve communication objectives in line with our public affairs strategy, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Support internal ESG initiatives and play an active role in communicating sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts.
- Develop clear and targeted communication messages to effectively advocate for our interests with different stakeholders.
- Collect public data and set up a structured data room, diving into relevant research and policy documents to translate them into clear insights for communication and strategic decision-making.
- Support internal communication by providing business managers with the necessary information and ensuring key messages are effectively conveyed within the organization.
- Help develop communication channels and strategies for internal messaging, keeping employees informed about important company matters and strategic goals.
Your Winning Profile:
- You hold a degree in Law, Political & Social Sciences, Journalism, or a related field.
- You have several years of experience in public affairs or a similar role.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English, with a keen eye for linguistic detail.
- You have experience in maintaining press relations.
- You are passionate about political developments and have experience in highly regulated sectors, using your expertise to promote a stable and sustainable gaming market through policy.
- You are proactive, results-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
- You have experience or a strong interest in internal communication and know how to effectively inform and engage an organization.
