About the role...
Strategic Finance is a high-impact function focused on optimizing capital allocation across the organization and creating long-term business value. Synthesia is scaling at a rapid pace as we capture a huge market opportunity. With that, the requirements of the Strategic Finance function in supporting senior stakeholder decision-making continue to grow.
We are seeking a highly analytical and ambitious Strategic Finance Associate to join our dynamic team. This crucial role combines analytical skills with strategic thinking, directly impacting our company's financial strategy and operational decisions.
As our second dedicated Strategic Finance hire you will play a pivotal role in building a best in class function providing short and long-term top-line and cost forecasting, key metric analysis and data driven insights. You will work closely with the Strategic Finance Manager, VP of Finance and CFO.
What you’ll be doing…
- Assist in building and assessing financial budgets and operational planning (headcount planning, incentive structures, GTM strategies, and more)
- Conducting data-driven analysis to drive business insights and strategic decision-making
- Help design and monitor key KPIs to drive the business both on a team and company level
- Ensure the highest level of data accuracy and governance
- Support investor relations and fundraising activities
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- 3+ years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, FP&A, or related fields
- Experience in financial modeling, forecasting processes, and KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and develop concrete action plans
- Experience problem-solving independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on time
- Experience building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions
We’d be particularly excited if you have…
- Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
- Experience working in FP&A software such as Pigment, Anaplan, or equivalent
- SQL experience
