About the Role
At Tabby, we're committed to providing an exceptional user experience to our diverse customer base. We're seeking an English-to-Arabic UX Localisation Expert to assist in translating and localising our product and platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers. This role is primarily focused on translation, but requires a clear understanding of user-experience principles, sensitivity to cultural differences, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate and localise English UX content into Arabic, including user interface text, onboarding instructions, promotional content, error messages, and other elements integral to the user experience.
- Maintain the tone, context, and overall user-friendliness of the original English content during the translation process, ensuring the copy is clear, concise, and accurate.
- Collaborate with our teams, including designers, researchers, legal, marketing, product managers, and engineers, to understand the context and intent behind the original content.
- Manage multiple translation projects concurrently, demonstrating a commitment to deadlines and quality control.
- Review and revise translated content based on user feedback and usability tests, ensuring continuous improvement and refinement of the user experience.
- Assist in localising additional content such as release notes, internal blogs, product documentation, etc., as required.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in both English and Arabic, with a solid understanding of regional dialects, cultural idioms, and technical language.
- Proven experience in UX writing or localisation, preferably in the tech industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the high quality and accuracy of translated content.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks and projects, and adhere to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
- While creative input is always welcome, this role is primarily executional, requiring consistency and reliability above all.
