About the role 

IT Business Solutions Manager is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of different organizational information systems and software applications. You will be accountable for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing business systems and applications. You will work with vendors to form business partnerships and help ensure business objectives are met.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage critical shared applications and technology platforms across Tamara
  • Identify opportunities towards cost optimization (hardware and software) and resourcing 
  • Ensure availability of critical applications is 99.9% or higher. Measured and reported by standard tools
  • Responsible for forecasting, budgeting, technical analysis, evaluating architectural fit and compliance, delivery milestones, and overall applications quality
  • Manage Incident and problem management efforts at all levels of priority and complexity
  • Interface with both senior technology leaders as well as senior business leaders in order to accomplish business goals and availability objectives
  • Participate in various tactical and strategic meetings with all levels of leadership to advise and collaborate on solutions to current and future challenges
  • Maintain operations policies & procedures; including security; disaster recovery; monitoring and communications
  • Monitor networking, firewalls, security policies, routing, failover, HA/backup/restore, disaster recovery, cloud storage, security trends, monitoring tools and application deployment
  • Define, implement, manage, and improve operational support processes
  • Implement systems and processes to help build the IT department with a focus on efficiency and data security.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships, monitoring license needs and usage.
  • Build IT knowledge bases and reference guides for employees.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree  in Information Technology or related field desirable.
  • 5+ years of IT management experience required. 
  • Demonstrated track record of partnering with business stakeholders and handling multiple complex transformation projects and delivering technology capabilities
  • Extensive experience in multiple aspects of technology: analysis, project management, systems development, change management, business process improvement, etc.
  • Strong general management skills.
  • Experience with working in a startup environment preferred.
