Your role
We're seeking an Associate Legal Counsel for our Legal team. As Associate Legal Counsel, you will be crucial in forge strong connections across the company, working with leaders and teams in different areas to provide comprehensive legal support on a diverse range of matters.
Drawing on your proficiency in reviewing, drafting commercial contracts, you will be responsible for providing effective legal counsel to the business and acting as a legal advisor and Business Partner, negotiating contracts, managing litigation, and providing counseling on legal matters to create unique experience only Tamara can provide.
With a proven track record of execptional communication with bilingual fluency in English and Arabic, able to navigate complex negotiations and build strong relationships both internally across the business and externally with clients, and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Your responsibilities
- Build relationships with the business and stakeholders in various sectors and functions.
- Support a wide range of legal matters (e.g. transactions, disputes, intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, and compliance issues).
- Work effectively with outside counsel.
- Support the Legal team, working alongside responsible sector attorneys, as appropriate.
- Assist with drafting, document review, document management, and business queries.
- Support in the use of technology to help us build a world-class and cutting-edge legal function.
- Provide other legal services and advice to the company as needed.
Your expertise
- Bachelor’s Degree in law with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the MENA region.
- Must be fluent in both English and Arabic.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work with different stakeholders within the business.
- Good at external relationship building.
