Role Overview:
As the Senior Risk Product Manager, you are an essential member of our Risk Management team, tasked with mitigating fraud and compliance risks in customer and merchant interactions. This role involves developing innovative strategies and tools for fraud detection and prevention, and enhancing the understanding of fraud trends and compliance requirements. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with talented engineers, designers, analysts and product experts. Your role encompasses building internal products, integrating with external vendors and leveraging system design to create technical solutions for complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Collaboration: Guide cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and analysts to develop and implement effective fraud detection and compliance products.
- Product Strategy and Development: Design, build and maintain APIs, services and systems, focusing on internal product development and external vendor integration.
- Product Analytics and Insights: Analyze fraud trends using data-driven insights and debug production issues across services.
- User-Centric Problem Solving: Collaborate with functional teams, product and operations teams to understand user pain points and develop solutions.
- Adaptive and Empathetic Teamwork: Work effectively with all team members through empathy and respect, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented outlook.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in fraud detection or compliance.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and building products that protect platforms and users.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Python/R and Excel. Experience in fraud scorecard development and/or merchant underwriting is a plus.
- Driven, determined and curious team player with the ability to respond quickly and adapt without losing momentum.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work with engineers across the company and innovation in developing advanced product solutions.
