Teachable’s Fraud team plays a critical role in maintaining acceptable chargeback rates for our payment processing activities. We rely on this team to investigate suspicious transactions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and company policy.
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Fraud Analyst who will focus on identifying and managing fraud across our platform, ensuring the integrity of our offerings and protecting our company, employees, and creators. You will work alongside other members of the fraud team and cross-functionally, enabling us to continue to provide high-quality services to our users and maintain our position as a leader in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Monitor transactions and identify potential fraudulent activity
Conduct investigations into suspected fraud, including
Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and controls
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fraud trends and industry best practices
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance
Effective communication with impacted customers
Qualifications:
At least 2-3 years of experience in fraud detection, investigation, and prevention
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to fraud prevention and detection
Familiarity with fraud prevention tools and software
