The Role
The Analog Circuit Designer is a vital contributor to Terra Quantum's hardware engineering teams, specializing in the conception and development of analog circuits for quantum computing hardware. Your expertise in analog design principles and your ability to innovate will play a significant role in pushing the boundaries of quantum technology.
Responsibilities
Circuit Design
- Designing, simulating, and prototyping analog circuits to meet the specifications of quantum computing applications.
- Selecting appropriate components and creating schematics for complex analog systems.
- Performing signal integrity and power analysis to optimize circuit performance.
Collaboration and Innovation
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including digital designers, layout engineers, and system architects, to ensure seamless integration of analog circuits within broader hardware platforms.
- Contributing to the development of new analog design methodologies and techniques to advance the field of quantum computing.
Verification and Validation
- Defining and executing test plans for analog circuits, including bench-level testing and system-level validation.
- Analyzing test data to identify performance trends and making informed decisions for circuit improvements.
Quality and Documentation
- Ensuring the robustness and reliability of analog circuits throughout their operational life.
- Documenting design processes, simulation results, test procedures, and design modifications for technical review and future reference.
