The Big Search is a leading talent consultancy firm with offices in Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Budapest, Warsaw, Belgrade, and Skopje. We have built a strong reputation in the technology recruitment space, particularly in the DACH market, and are now looking to strengthen our senior ranks and open a new chapter of growth.
We are seeking a highly commercial and outward-facing Partner to join our Berlin office and lead our local Executive Search and Embedded Hiring teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with founders and VCs to build the next generation of companies and will bring a rich and extensive network to The Big Search. We are not looking for a DACH generalist, but someone with a spike in either B2B or B2C.
As one of the local leaders in Berlin, you will be responsible for growing your P&L in the DACH region by leveraging our full suite of products in Executive Search and Embedded Hiring. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to the team, and work with the rest of the Commercial Leadership Team to deliver strategic topics aligned to our vision, mission, and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow your P&L in the DACH region by leveraging our full suite of products in Executive Search and Embedded Hiring
- Ensure a high, 30+ NPS score, across your client portfolio by always going all in for the customer and solving their underlying problems
- Develop bespoke talent solutions within your team tailored to the needs of your specific client base
- Be a local leader in Berlin, providing guidance and mentorship to the team, whether those directly reporting to you or in other areas of the business
- Plan and execute on the growth and development of your team, ensuring retention while hiring the best talent
- Be a face of our business in the DACH market and represent The Big Search on social media and in on-line and off-line events
- Maintain and grow your own book of clients
- Be a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, working to deliver strategic topics aligned to our vision, mission, and goals
Qualifications
- Experience bringing in €1m+ in fee earnings and a network in the start-up/technology space
- Ability to design and execute complex hiring projects, especially for C-level positions but experience developing hiring strategies for mid-level and high volume is also beneficial
- Customer-obsessed with commercial drive and instinct: you don’t settle for mediocre results
- Self-motivated and highly independent with a persistent desire to uncover root issues and use data to understand and explain problems
- Excellent and knowledgeable communicator with the ability to tailor communication to the audience, both written and spoken
- Experience influencing at C-level, both to contribute to the direction of The Big Search, as well as to support our clients
- Humble and grounded with a belief in meritocracy and equality of opportunity
- Intellectually curious with a desire to learn new things and dig deeper than the surface
