We're on the lookout for a strategic thinker with a knack for understanding shopper psychology and retail environments to join our team as a Senior Category Manager. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping how our products are presented across key trade channels like Food, Drug, OOH/Convenience, and Sport, driving total category growth and creating a lasting impact.

 

Your mission

  • Shopper-Focused Design: Dive deep into Shopper-Based Design principles to enhance category sales across priority channels. You’ll use insights into shopper behavior to create environments that drive engagement and sales
  • B2B Perfect Store Execution: Lead the charge in implementing Perfect Store strategies, focusing on everything from category shelving and customer education to strategic product placements that enhance the shopper journey
  • Perfect Shelf Planning: Craft tailored planograms and shelf solutions for our top customers, ensuring that our products are positioned for maximum impact
  • B2B Display Mastery: Take ownership of our B2B permanent display stands—from initial design to in-store installation and maintenance—working closely with suppliers to bring your vision to life
  • POS & Communication Materials: Develop a suite of B2B point-of-sale materials and educational resources that don’t just look good—they’re proven to drive category growth
  • Category Captaincy: Step up as the go-to Category Expert for our retail partners. You’ll lead joint category development initiatives, providing insights that shape the entire category, including competitive analysis

 

Your experience & skills 

  • In-Depth Product & Category Knowledge: You know our products and categories inside out, and you keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and consumer preferences
  • Customer-Centric Approach: You’ve got a deep understanding of both shopper and retailer needs, and you’re skilled at crafting merchandising strategies that enhance the shopping experience and drive sales
  • Retail & Shopper Psychology Expertise: You understand the psychological factors that influence shopper decisions, and you know how to leverage store layouts, product placements, and in-store promos to sway those decisions
  • Strategic Vision: You’re a big-picture thinker with the ability to develop long-term marketing plans that align with our business and brand goals
  • Data Interpretation Skills: You have experience working with Nielsen data and interpreting classic retail KPIs from GfK. You're comfortable using these insights to inform your day-to-day actions and set up effective strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Numbers don’t scare you—in fact, you rely on data and analytics to guide your decisions and measure the success of your campaigns
  • Communication Excellence: Whether you’re talking to suppliers, team members, or retailers, you know how to get your point across clearly and effectively. You thrive in cross-functional teams
  • Strong Presence: You’ve got the confidence and communication skills to represent our category leadership, conveying insights and strategies with authority
  • Project Management Prowess: You’re a pro at juggling multiple projects and stakeholders, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time
