As QA Engineer (f/m/x) in our team you will work closely with developers and product owners to establish and maintain high-quality standards from the beginning of the software development life cycle. Your mission
- You are responsible for the continuous quality assurance of our software products, mainly about financial processes like invoicing, credit notes or provisions, ensuring both functional correctness and optimal technical performance
- You will provide advisory support to our development teams and leadership, particularly in the area of QA best practices, and implement automated integration and end-to-end tests
- You will carefully design, execute, and automate testing strategies for backend services (incl. APIs and Lambda functions), documenting the results to ensure transparency and traceability, while continuously improving QA processes across the team
- You will become an integral part of our agile and increasingly international teams, where your comprehensive expertise will significantly contribute to team dynamics and project success
- You will regularly engage with other team members regarding quality standards and testing methodologies, conducting coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure continuous knowledge development
Your experience & skills
- You have solid experience in backend test automation, designing and implementing test strategies for APIs, databases, and microservices and you can balance both manual and automated testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- You have hands-on experience in automating integration and end-to-end tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of our software solutions
- You are proficient in TypeScript and ideally have experience or knowledge in Playwright
- You are eager to deepen your understanding of financial systems such as invoicing and tax management, working with tools like Odoo, SAP Integration Suite, and AWS services (Lambda functions, queues) to ensure the quality of financial workflows
- You have already gained experience with test management tools (e.g., Xray)
- Change doesn’t scare you; it excites your ambition to continually strive for effectiveness and efficiency
- You have enjoyed your previous QA role and are eager to continue your growth with us, bringing in your expertise and coaching/mentoring others
- You speak fluent English (and basic German) and consider yourself a master communicator
