The Social Hub is looking for a Social Media Content Creator!
Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It…
As our Freelance Social Media Content Creator (on a month to month contract with start date on first of May), you’ll be responsible for bringing our social media channels to the next level with engaging, social-first content. You are one step ahead of the game and you are able to jump on the latest trends, aligned with TSH’s wider social strategy and content pillars. You’ll report to our Social Media Manager, within the Brand & Content Team.

Offering a community-driven, socially inspired hotel concept with student accommodation, as well as long and short hotel-stay options, eat & drink, gym and rooftop bar facilities, and coworking for every demographic, the company’s success is unprecedented. With 16 hotels in 6 countries and plans to open at least 3 more locations each year until 2026, TSH is a fun, creative, and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn, and play. What You'll Do
- You'll create dynamic and original TikTok videos and Instagram Reels that truly engages our audience and stands out from the thumb scrolling
- You'll be responsible for ideating, scripting, filming, editing, optimising and delivering monthly content for use of The Social Hub Global TikTok
- You'll follow The Social Hub’s social strategy and create concepts within our social content pillars (from Travel & Exploration to Social Impact)
- You'll Create platform-native TikTok content and Instagram Reels – bespoke for channel
- You'll tap into social trends to increase our organic visibility and build cultural relevancy
- You'll be fully immersed in our brand – values, purpose, and everything we stand for
- You'll be available to travel to our 17+ Hubs in the EU for content productions as needed
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of social content creation for brands
- Proven experience creating social content, particularly for TikTok and Instagram
- You're a fluent UK English speaker and writer
- You have a deep understanding of audiences and communities on social
- You thrive working independently but are open to feedback and amends
- You have strong creative and storytelling skills & you're on top of current social trends / pop culture / memes and apply to content with quick turnarounds
- You have Experience with editing software / apps (CapCut, Adobe, Figma etc.)
- You already have your own equipment to produce content
- You are an entrepreneurial self-starter who takes ownership of all your projects
- You are happy to get out and about & you have an interest in travel & hospitality
- A flare for being confident and engaging in front of camera
- Bonus: Experience with special fx / animation / drone footage, etc.
