Organic search is one of the most important channels in the company’s digital strategy! It is an important channel that captures users based on their search intent, thus it is very crucial to make sure we perform the right research and deliver the right content for the users! Yes, we put users first and not the search engine. 

As the Content Marketing Intern at The Social Hub, first and foremost you’ll learn and develop your skill in Content Marketing with focus on user first and SEO. You’ll work closely with the SEO Manager and digital marketing team to assist in both on-page content optimizations. We are working on optimizing our content strategy to fit in with our organization’s goal and together with the digital marketing team, you will help us to achieve that by providing input through research and understanding user requirements.. 

You will be surrounded by experts in all areas of the online marketing world: Digital analytics, paid media advertising, social media marketing, content marketing and growth marketing. We are looking for someone to join our team in Amsterdam for a period of at least 5-6 months starting in February 2025.

What You’ll Do   

  • You’ll be the support the SEO Manager & digital marketing team with content strategy and implementation of SEO roadmap  
  • You are going to optimize website content٫ and landing pages through CMS.  
  • You will be the support for off-page optimization projects such digital PR.  
  • You’ll help to manage Local SEO (incl. Google My Business) & coordinating with local teams. 
  • You will assist implementing on-page optimization

Who You Are   

  • You currently studying for a bachelor or master’s in marketing, communication or related field  
  • You have a basic understanding of web analytics such as Google Analytics 
  • You have good copywriting skills
  • You are not afraid to share creative input 
  • You are proactive and ask critical questions 
  • You are fluent in English 
  • Pre: You have basic experience and understanding of CMS
  • Bonus: If you are proficient in one or more of the following languages - German, Dutch, Italian, French, and/or Spanish, you can also contribute to our localization project! Additionally, if you are proficient in Python, that's an extra bonus (after all, it's also a language😉!)
