As a Community Host Intern in our restaurant and bar, you are an essential part of our team, ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable experience. Whether you're warmly welcoming our guests, impressing them with excellent service, or recommending the best food and drinks – you make every visit special. You know our menu inside and out and are skilled at presenting our offerings with charm and conviction. In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are:
Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.
What You’ll Do
- You ensure that every guest is warmly greeted as soon as they enter our restaurant, bar, or breakfast area.
- You assist our guests in choosing food and drinks and ensure their orders are smoothly and quickly carried out.
- As a barista, you treat our guests to perfectly crafted coffee specialties and make sure the start of their day in the breakfast area is as successful as a relaxing afternoon.
- You offer our guests recommendations for their favourite drinks and prepare them with passion – from classic cocktails to creative signature creations.
- A tidy workspace is a happy workspace. You ensure that both the restaurant, bar, and breakfast areas are clean and ready for the next guest.
- You assist our guests with questions about the menu, drinks, or special requests, and may even develop new skills in handling modern bar and coffee machines.
Who You Are
- This internship is a mandatory requirement for your studies.
- Currently pursuing studies at a Hospitality School
- You are available for 3 months: June, July & August 2025
- Enjoy receiving and taking responsibility and you can work independently.
- You have a flexible, hands-on, motivated and positive approach.
- Fluent in English with basic proficiency in German – Know any other languages? The more the merrier!
- Hard working, responsible and a “let’s do this!” mentality.
