Time Research is a quantitative trading firm founded in 2019, utilizing a diversified portfolio of systematic and quantitative strategies to achieve high quality, uncorrelated returns. We were founded by a team of traditional and crypto trading veterans with an average daily trading volume of over $2B USD at over 15 crypto trading venues.

We specialize in multi-strategy quantitative trading across a broad range of digital assets, employing diverse approaches such as liquidity provision, market making, statistical arbitrage, systematic long/short, DeFi strategies, and direct external investments.

Team
We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Frontend Developer with experience in Rust, WebAssembly (Wasm), AI model integration, and public blockchain UI integration. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that merge web development with advanced technologies, shaping the future of decentralized and AI-driven applications. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, backend developers and blockchain experts to deliver secure, performant, and user-friendly solutions.
 
What You Will Do
  • Design and develop responsive and dynamic web applications using modern frontend frameworks.
  • Utilize Rust and WebAssembly to build high-performance browser modules.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into web applications, ensuring efficient inference and user interactions.
  • Implement public blockchain UI integration for interacting with decentralized networks (e.g., wallets, smart contracts, token ext.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs, blockchain nodes, and AI services into the frontend.
  • Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and blockchain interaction efficiency.
  • Ensure a secure and intuitive user experience, particularly when handling blockchain data.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in blockchain, AI, Rust, Wasm, and frontend best practices.
 
Who You Are
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Svelte.
  • Experience with Rust and compiling to WebAssembly (Wasm).
  • Familiarity with public blockchain integration, including wallet SDKs (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) and interaction with smart contracts.
  • Experience with integrating AI/ML models into client-side applications.
  • Understanding of cryptographic principles, blockchain transaction workflows, and decentralized application (dApp) concepts.
  • Experience with APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) and efficient data handling techniques.
  • Proficient with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an emphasis on performance optimization.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or Vuex.
  • Knowledge of blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Solana, or Cosmos.
  • Experience with blockchain frameworks and tools such as Ethers.js, Web3.js, or Substrate.
  • Experience with TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • Knowledge of SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) for web applications.
