As we enter into our first international salon launch in the U.S and we continue to expand our UK portfolio, it is an exciting time of growth for Townhouse. We are looking for an innovative, forward thinking and solution focused Financial Controller, to join our UK Support Centre team, who will lead from the front and be pivotal in the success and development of the finance function within Townhouse.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of Townhouse. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and guide the Financial Control Team to deliver all aspects of financial reporting, ensure financial compliance across all Townhouse entities and to manage the companies’ working capital position through the AP, AR and Treasury functions. This role will help shape the future of the Finance function in a period of international expansion and in delivering a new ERP system. In providing detailed financial information that supports strategic financial guidance, you will contribute to the overall success and stability of the company.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Play a major role in the delivery of a new ERP system leveraging financial software and technology to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyse financial data and present findings to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise working capital and mitigate financial risks.
• Support and help maintain good relationships with investors and financial institutions by delivering detailed and informative data in a timely and accurate way.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors and other external stakeholders to ensure compliance across all of the companies’ entities and jurisdictions.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and ensure the company’s compliance with them.
• Play a major role in the delivery of a new ERP system leveraging financial software and technology to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
• Stay abreast of advancements in financial technology and recommend relevant tools to improve financial management.

ABOUT YOU:

• Qualified Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Systems integration experience is desirable
• Proven experience in a financial team leadership role.
• Excellent Excel and Financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Flexible, creative, solution focused individual.

LOCATION:

Our office is based in Central London and we offer a discretionary hybrid working model, based on the requirements of the role.
