  • Conduct live and virtual customer meeting presentations and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with the customer/partner to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements
  • Conduct remote configuration review with customer
  • Independently consult with customer base to provide technical expertise on data protection
  • Coordinate closely with Internal Teams like Support and Licensing
  • Work closely with Product Management to provide customer feedback
  • Account management at a technical level to support upsell/cross-selling
  • Demonstrates solid experience delivering, presenting, technical selling, supporting Commercial / Enterprise Clients
  • Participating and supporting technical sales cycles to successful customer outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly growing territory where priorities are continuously updated to meet market and customer demands.
  • Ability to work in an organised, procedural manner using tools such as Salesforce.com to facilitate process, customer information and technical associated notes.
  • Able to work remotely and autonomously
  • Excellent written, presentation, communication skills and the ability to build / maintain business relationships.
  • Provide technical expertise and product support for the channel as needed.
  • Provide feedback on potential product improvements via the process to appropriate internal groups.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated solution sales and/or technical presales experience preferred
  • Industry-based experience with experience with data protection technologies
  • Industry based experience in storage, network and/or cloud-based technologies strongly desired
  • Experience working with monitoring tools and frameworks
  • Experience in data life-cycle management with IT audit requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with VMWare vSphere, VMware Workstation, HyperV, AHV, Windows Servers, Office 365, Azure, Microsoft SQL Server and other enterprise application exposure (SAP, Oracle, Exchange, db2, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter and be able to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
  • Excellent time management skills required
  • Ability to travel 10 – 15%

Knowledge

  • Deployment of software solutions into complex environments
  • Deep level understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies
  • VMCE certification preferable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to present to groups
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure technologies – storage, servers, networking, cloud, hyper-convergence, etc.
  • Technical Sales methodology experience
  • Other Industry relevant professional certifications is desirable
