We are currently looking for a Junior/Middle C# developer to join the UI team working on Veeam Backup&Replication solution.

Your tasks will include:  

  • Developing and supporting user interface on WPF 
  • Designing database (creating stored procedures, tables, views, etc.) 
  • Developing and supporting a client-server API  
  • Participating in the transition from legacy protocols to modern REST or gRPC 
  • Developing a cross-platform (Windows, Linux) backend service for UI needs  

Technologies we work with: 

C#, WinForms (switchover to WPF), .Net Framework 4.7.2, (switchover to .Net 8), MS SQL, PostgreSQL, NUnit, Multithreading

What we expect from you:  

  • 1+ years of experience in commercial software development  
  • A good knowledge of C# language 
  • A deep understanding of .NET platform, WPF, data structures and algorithms, relational databases (using SQL) 
  • Possession of the principles of software design and development 
  • A university degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience 
  • English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams 

Will be an advantage:  

  • Experience with ASP.NET Core, specifically with REST and gRPC 
  • Experience with API development  
  • Experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL 
  • Experience with virtualization platforms, and basic AWS concepts and services such as VPC, EC2, RDS, etc. (or Azure equivalents)
