Headquartered in London, you’ll be joining a global company and working across talented cross-functional teams to drive innovation and make a significant impact. 


Your role at Vertice:

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Venture Partnerships Manager who can help us expand our customer base and develop new channels for Vertice in the US. You will be working closely with our senior leadership to convert opportunities from our investor network and other partnerships channels. You will leverage your industry experience, network, and knowledge to cultivate and nurture relationships, creating sales opportunities for our sales team by clearly demonstrating the value of our solution.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and build relationships with venture capital & private equity firms using your established network and industry knowledge.
  • Engage with key decision-makers and influencers in these firms (eg. value creation teams, portfolio managers, and platform teams), positioning Vertice as the go-to solution for software cost-optimization for their portfolio companies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS purchasing platform and optimization solution to effectively communicate its value proposition to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to create sales opportunities and provide timely updates on pipeline development.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent Vertice and stay informed about the latest trends and opportunities in the market.


Requirements:

  • You have 5+ years of work experience.
  • You may have worked in business development, partnerships, or a similar role at a fast-growing tech company. You also may have worked in venture capital or private equity - either as an investor or in a portfolio/platform role. 
  • You understand the world of VC & PE and how to communicate with these types of stakeholders. 
  • Your superpower is building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • You are highly results-driven and action-oriented. 
  • You are a team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
