The Challenge 🧩

We are seeking a B2B Marketing Lead who will give support to the complete marketing experience for professional sellers on Wallapop. The candidate will have experience in developing marketing plans as well as a history of discovering and analyzing customers’ motivations, for B2B customers, to execute innovative customer outreach initiatives

The B2B Marketing Lead as an individual contributor (with no team in charge) is responsible for carrying out all marketing activities, helping the sales and product teams to generate revenue by launching marketing tactics that focus on acquisition, retention and increase penetration and usage of Wallapop products in Spain. 

This position must work to establish an effective relationship with the whole marketing team and with our business partners from the different business units (Seller, PRO, Motor, Bumpers…) and other internal teams (e.g. UX, Analytics, Research, Product).

You will help inform and educate professional sellers, partners, and opinion leaders about the benefits of Wallapop products, our company culture/values, and our approach to the B2B marketing opportunity.

 

What You Will Do 👇

 

Identify Growth Opportunities: Analyze revenue streams and customer journeys to uncover growth opportunities. Collaborate with marketing, sales, analytics, and research teams to detect opportunities and pain points to grow Wallapop's professional user base.

 

Build and execute Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement data-driven marketing plans collaborating with all marketing channels addressing key insights and pain points to acquire, engage, and retain professional users. Create measurable tactics across all marketing areas to drive results and address business needs effectively. Utilize multiple strategies, including converting free users into paying users, acquiring leads, leveraging events for awareness and database enrichment, and scaling ABM efforts to target key accounts effectively.


Develop PRO Content Strategy: Build a content strategy tailored to the professional audience to establish trust and raise awareness. Create compelling content with our creative partners that resonate with professional users, showcasing the value proposition effectively.

 

What We’re Looking For 🔎

  • More than 6 years of experience in Product Marketing and Growth Marketing in a Tech company or a top consultancy company.
  • Experience in B2B marketing (webinars, lead magnet creation, content for PRO, partnerships, lead generation with sales, etc)
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Great abilities in designing and/or planning integrated marketing plans.
  • Ability to clearly and consistently articulate vision, creativity, and enthusiasm to stakeholders.
  • Proven capability of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good coordination skills.

What does the hiring process for this position look like? 👀

 

**Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**

1) Intro Call - run by talent acquisition, focus on providing more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience, motivation, and expectations. This usually takes 45-60 minutes.

2) Take-home test - you will be assigned a task to submit in 5 days where you will be able to showcase your expertise / technical skills required for the role.

3) Expertise Interview - run by the hiring team, focus on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 60 minutes.

4) Stakeholder Interview - run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross-functional set-up. This usually takes 60 minutes.

5) Final check with CMO

6) Culture-Add Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 40 minutes.
