Internally we call this role People and Culture Lead, we have called it HR Lead to boost the visibility of the advert, we aim to be as modern as possible in our approach.
This is a hybrid working role, we work 4 days a month in Milan, Italy, and are otherwise flexible.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Extensive experience in HR roles such as Senior HR Generalist, Senior HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or HR Coordinator
- Strong people management and team coordination skills
- Lean and data-driven approach to HR processes and activities
- Experience with labour law and payroll, ideally in multiple countries
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and GDPR Employment regulations.
- Proven track record of driving company events and initiatives to positively impact company culture and employee engagement
- Experience working with hybrid/remote and international employees
- Fluent in English
- Ideally previous experience in startup and mid-sized companies
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, focusing on engagement and retention
- Support leaders with organisational design and workforce planning
- Drive change projects within the company
- Manage the HR team
- Develop and implement compensation, benefits, incentive programs, and awards
- Manage learning and development initiatives
- Implement performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with HR tools, processes, and legal requirements
- Work on DE&I (diversity, equality, and inclusion) strategies
