As a Product Manager Student Worker, you will assist in product development by prioritizing, building, and communicating new and complex functionality. You will work on high-impact and high-visibility projects, thinking strategically and holistically.

About you
- Graduate-level student, currently enrolled in a master’s program in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest in product management, technology, and innovation.
- Comfortable working in high-paced environments.
- Strategic thinker, empathetic towards customer challenges.
- Outstanding ability to think on your feet and tackle intellectually challenging problems.
- Ability to understand the root cause before considering solutions.
- Great prioritizer, not afraid to say no.
- Excellent communicator, able to steer conversations meaningfully with multiple team members.
- Analytical approach to problem-solving, using complex data to make decisions.
Your tasks:
- Be the customer’s voice through continuous user interviews and market research.
- Drive impact by aligning the team around outcomes and prioritising effectively on multiple dimensions.
- Discover and validate new product opportunities through a deep understanding of our users, market, technology, strategy, and data.
- Demonstrate excellent structured thinking by synthesising insights from various sources to craft a clear problem statement, articulating the root cause with clarity.
- Learn as fast as possible and build confidence to ensure we build the right product.
- Scope complex functionality in the leanest way possible to deliver within expected timelines.
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering to ensure a top notch user experience.
- Deliver value through incremental improvements that are highly innovative and user-friendly.
- Measure success by identifying metrics to track and work with stakeholders to implement it.
- Communicate roadmaps, priorities, goals, and achievements to teams and stakeholders in an excellent manner.
- Set the team up for success by improving internal processes and creating an environment that allows the team to get the best out of everyone.
- Be a strong voice in the product team to influence, guide, support and mentor others.
- Make strategic product decisions to navigate the business in the right direction.
- Help establish a strong product culture in the business.
Your profile:
- Free to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, and ideally able to work more hours in select peak periods
- Relevant education from a University or Business School – however most importantly you are passionate and eager to learn new stuff
- Relevant experience from interesting jobs, projects, and results, perhaps from recruitment, platform-economy or another startup?
