This is a newly created role and will be responsible for establishing a brand focus at Wunderflats, working within the Marketing team and alongside key stakeholders (Market Research, BI, People & Product). You will have the opportunity to create exceptional, meaningful work, shape the Wunderflats brand internationally and problem solve with innovative team members by your side.

You will manage and orchestrate all internal and external communications aimed at elevating the reputational equity of Wunderflats across all company stakeholders, including employees, global media (earned and owned), our tenants, landlords and partners.

This role will be instrumental in raising the Wunderflats brand profile in Germany and across Europe as we scale our international presence. 

This is a permanent role on a full-time basis, with an option for remote working (+/- 1hs CEST).



  • Lead, collaborate, and inspire a growing team, currently consisting of Content, Social Media, & PR, to capture significant media exposure by mastering the company’s storytelling through major media outlets

  • Ensure that culture messages, mindset,  behaviour changes, culture themes, and culture changes are embedded in communications across all aspects of the organisation – operationally, strategically, and through change frameworks

  • Guide our PR agency to deliver key messages across consumers, investors and industry stakeholders

  • Responsible for the positioning of the brand in the German market and INTL markets.

  • Handling of day to day media queries/requests 

  • Run crisis management and preemptive planning
    Oversee executive communications and thought leadership, working with various leaders to communicate the company’s vision and strategy, and using creative ways to build a strong and distinct team culture

  • Own and manage brand guidelines, including proposition, tone of voice and visual identity

  • Work closely with the CMO and other marketing team members to develop and strengthen a comprehensive strategy to align the company’s communications, marketing, and branding elements in support of the company’s mission and commercial pursuits



  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand/communications

  • Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience

  • Experience managing, expanding, and maintaining a brand, including the writing of press releases, blog posts and propagation to media outlets

  • Experience leading content strategies that improve organic traffic

  • Experience with content management platforms and understanding of SEO techniques

  • Experience in a communication role working with and advising the highest levels of executive leadership
