The Product & Engineering team at Wunderflats is growing, and we are looking for a talented Junior QA Analyst (f/m/d) with a passion for manual testing to join us!
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software by writing and executing manual test cases and identifying defects. We are seeking someone who not only has experience in manual testing but is also eager to continue growing in this field. You'll collaborate with your team to maintain testing documentation and processes, while continuously improving your skills and contributing to the team’s success.
If you're proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about manual testing, we want to hear from you! Please note that this is a junior position—applicants with more than 2 years of experience will not be considered.
Your Mission
- Execute and document manual test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications across browsers and platforms.
- Learn to record, track, and document defects, ensuring effective resolution in collaboration with the team.
- Work closely with teammates to understand QA workflows and best practices.
- Familiarize yourself with BDD and Gherkin methodologies to create, maintain, and run scenarios and tests.
- Identify, document, and report software defects using designated bug tracking tools, and help pinpoint root causes of issues.
- Troubleshoot issues, suggest process improvements, and contribute to maintaining high software quality standards.
- Continuously learn and grow in Quality Assurance, developing skills with tools and processes relevant to our domain.
Your Profile
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in QA, specifically with manual testing for web applications.
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude, with a clear passion for manual testing and a desire to further develop your expertise in this area.
- Familiarity with test cases, test plans, and testing for website and mobile platforms.
- Experience with tools like Testmo, Jira, and a basic understanding of BDD concepts and Gherkin (familiarity with Postman is a bonus).
- Interest in learning Cypress and other automation tools as we transition to a 50/50 manual and automation setup next year (training provided).
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a natural ability to work effectively in a team.
- Business fluent in English.
