The role
As an Operations and Organisations Manager you are ultimately responsible for setting up the local data centre operations organisations in various locations across multiple global regions. Starting 18 months prior to the ready for service date, bringing teams together to deliver multiple service lines, collating all documentation and ensuring a smooth transition from construction to full operations.
Main responsibilities
/ Manage a team of internal workstream owners
/ Establishing a mobilisation project plan and organisation for each site mobilisation and hand over
/ Collate all updates and issue reports in a timely manner
/ Update and adapt project controls tool
/ Distribute key information between stakeholders
/ Programme and chair bi weekly meetings internally and externally
/ Liaise with construction, client and operations team
/ Implement and manage internal governance
/ Work within local legislation and law
Qualifications and experience
/ Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and service lines from construction through to handover to operations
/ Proficient with project controls applications - P6, Smartsheets, Microsoft Project
/ Previous experience with managing a team to achieve project goals
/ Strong interpersonal skills
/ Ability to work with tight deadlines
