About the Role 

You will be responsible for ensuring lease build data center facilities are handed over on time and fully compliant with contractual / lease obligations, leading and managing programs of works and multiple workstreams pertaining to handover on multiple projects will entail aligning general contractors, Yondr's design & construction and operations teams on the outcomes, contractual deliverables and milestones to be achieved.

A strong focus on understanding the Client’s specific interface requirements to act as the liaison between the Operations team and external customers from lease signature throughout the construction phase to handover. To ensure clarity and alignment between all parties on their requirements, timeline and delivery thereof. To provide the best-in-class client experience during the delivery of facilities and leading to best-in-class reputation within the industry. 

 

Main Responsibilities 

Deliver on lease obligations and ensure contractual handover is achieved:

/ Orchestrate and lead the handover of data center facilities from construction phases through to an operational ready environment.

/ Achieve Client sign off(s), Internal Operations & External (Customer) of the leased facility at entering into operations.

/ Ensure compliance with the contracted scope and lease deliverable checklists.

/ Manage approvals at the various stages of the project. 

Provide consistent best in class customer experience across regions and throughout project life cycles:

/ Orchestrate the project specific client delivery team relationships. 

/ Research and understand client core values and processes.

/ Manage any client requested change(s) during the development lifecycle. 

/ Manage communications, project risk, meeting cadence and escalations required for the client team and Yondr internal teams. 

/ Own and ensure effective client relationships keeping meticulous records from interactions, own action items and closed loop processes.

/ Ensure top quality client care post contract signing.

/ Reporting on project progress to the senior client stakeholder.

Manage tenant improvement requirements for leased spaces including fit out of spaces and ICT infrastructure cabling:

/ Effectively decipher client requirements and implement solutions that consider scope, cost, safety, quality, and time impacts.

/ Develop and apply the client technical delivery management process.

/ Manage subject matter expert SME to SME relationships.

 

Qualifications and experience

/ Possess strong experience and knowledge in Project and Program Management skills.

/ Experience in managing client teams and understanding of hyperscale datacenter clients.

/ Good exposure of covering multiple projects with multiple Clients simultaneously across the region would be advantageous. 

/ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

/ Expert in running efficient meetings, tracking action items and deliverables, and ensuring closed loop communications.

/ Data center experience and a thorough understanding of the data center market working for end users / developers.

/ Possess a good understanding of data center construction build cycle.

/ Creative and passionate about creating solutions to customer problems.

/ Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision and hold internal & external stakeholders to account. 

/ Able to build trusting relationships with various stakeholders in the most effective time frame.  

/ Flexible to travel to clients or suppliers as required of the job.
