The role

A very exciting opportunity for a finance role within the business. The role will provide financial analysis in relation to Group reporting and will support the Group reporting Manager and Head of Group reporting in delivering the Group Reporting activities. 

 

Main responsibilities

 

/ Gather and organise financial data from all accounting departments

/ Compile and analyse financial reports and find discrepancies that require senior management’s attention

/ Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies

/ Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

/ Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

/ Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports

/ Actively be visible to the group functions, acting as the conduit between the business and the global finance team, giving the business first class support

/ Preparation of monthly reporting files.

/ Some Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.

/ Set-out of the TBs for review.

/ P&L & BS analysis and commentary.

/ Support Group Reporting Manager. 

 

 
Qualifications and experience

 

/ Part Qualified (Finalist) / Newly Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA)

/ 3+ experience of working in a finance role

/ Strong presentation, analytical skills, people management, communication and organisation skills

/ Self motivator, problem solver, provide recommendations and solutions to challenges
