About the Role

This role will be integral to that; co-ordinating, refining and implementing the messaging through our various communications channels.

 

Main Responsibilities 

/ Develop and execute Yondr’s internal communication strategy, ensuring the organisation’s mission, values, initiatives and people news are communicated in a regular, considered, effective and engaging way

/ Manage the internal communications rhythm, holding stakeholders accountable for deadlines. Defining and measuring success of interventions

/ Taking a high level launch or communication requirement from briefing through to multi channel/multi touch point plan and finally execution

/ Manage and create engaging content for the internal communications channels (intranet, email, in-person events, virtual events etc) and regularly evaluate the efficiency of the channels used, making continuous improvements

/ Develop our channels of communication so that they form a unified organisation, embed culture, have shared brand values and help the organisation speak with a common voice

/ Build feedback mechanisms into the internal communications strategy to facilitate staff feedback and further evolve strategy

/ Collaborating and co-creating with stakeholders to deliver information, launch systems and boost adoption internally

/ Embed within the business to understand what is going on and link communications together to create a consistent pipeline of knowledge for the business

/ Able to coordinate with the Marketing department to reflect the external and internal narratives so that they support each other

 

Qualifications and experience 

/ Relevant experience in an internal communications role, ideally in-house, working with colleagues in multiple/remote locations and across time zones

/ Proven ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal audiences

/ Understanding of various channels of internal communication in a hybrid environment, including with managing an intranet

/ Experience, including drafting and publishing of written and audio-visual content

/ Strong project management skills - including internal campaign management

/ A strategic and creative thinker with strong story-telling skills

/ Excellent English written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly

/ Strong attention to detail, in particular the ability to proofread

/ Copywriting and the ability to create a story

/ Excellent listening, interpersonal and communication skills

/ Strong data drive mindset, using tools such as HubSpot to gather data and translate it into actionable insights
