About the Role 

The Assistant Treasury Manager is responsible for several key processes within Finance. Working with the wider Treasury team, you will analyse Group-wide data, cash flows and processes and work towards the continuous improvement of these. You will take ownership of project-level debt facilities, including the utilisations, repayments and associated compliance aspects. As such, this role involves building relationships and credibility with numerous internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Manage debt drawdowns and repayments, working closely with the business around drawdown timings and supplier payments.
  • Assisting the management of debt compliance.
  • Interface on a regular basis with lenders, agents and international project teams.
  • Analysing the cash flows of the Group and assisting with the associated reporting.
  • Assisting the design and implementation of all treasury-related processes, cash management and FX strategies.
  • Assisting in managing the banking relationships and account management.
  • Working closely with Regional Financial Controllers and the wider Treasury team on accounting for treasury-related transactions.
  • Assisting with debt-related audit queries.
  • Ad-hoc project as required.

 

Qualifications and experience 

  • 2-5 years of debt-related finance or treasury experience.
  • Qualified Accountant preferred, ACA, ACCA or similar.
  • Experience managing debt drawdowns, compliance and working with the associated long-form debt documentation.
  • Excellent diligence and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills and experience in handling large volume of data.
  • Confident self-starter with experience managing external parties.
  • Creative attitude to problem solving.
  • Anticipates problems and takes preventive action.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment is a must.
  • Problem solving, provide recommendations and solutions to short and long-term challenges.
  • Experience with construction-financing preferred.
