As YouGov’s Compliance Specialist – Insurance & Risk, you’ll partner directly with the Head of Compliance to uphold the highest standards in our risk management procedures and drive our global insurance program. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

Insurance
- Manage insurance renewal data collation
- Manage insurance claims administration
- Administration of insurance certificates for clients
- Responsible for presenting company information to insurers
- Primary contact for insurance broker relationships
- Providing responses to contractual queries on insurance
- Proactively notify brokers and insurers on business changes

Risk
- Support risk management process, including risk interviews
- Comms with risk sponsors, risk owners and wider business on risk management
- Support updates to risk register and mitigating controls
- Enable updates to process in response to business changes.

Overall Compliance Support
- Suggest improvements to processes
- Support development of compliance training (e.g. risk management awareness) as required to the global business
- Promote and enforce compliance processes globally
- Answer ad hoc queries on compliance matters
- Horizon scanning for regulatory changes in region & updating legislation tracker
- Ad hoc support for Head of Compliance and Compliance Manager
These are the essential you will need to get an interview:
- 3-5 years demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of a global insurance programme for a large company including working with brokers, underwriters, claims handlers and loss adjusters
- Possess an understanding of the obligations on the insured under the Insurance Act 2015 (UK)
- Experienced in risk management projects including managing risk and assessing likelihood and impact.
- Proven ability to deliver and maintain a comprehensive risk register
- Experience horizon scanning for legislative and regulatory changes
- Excellent IT skills and open to finding new tech solutions to increase efficiency

- Experience working in a compliance team in a non- regulated company
