As the Senior Research Consultant at YouGov, you will primarily focus on the French-speaking market and will be responsible for project management, data analysis and client interaction within the social science research field. You will have strong project management skills, experience in handling and analyzing data and a broad social science background.

You must be a Native French speaker with at least a B2 level in German and English. To be considered, you must be based in Switzerland, as we are unable to support you with any residency or visas.

This is a hybrid role, so you must be able to commute to the Zurich office at least 2 days a week.

This is a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

Collaborate on both smaller and larger-scale research projects, with potential involvement in political research initiatives. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Preparation of offers for social research projects on the basis of requests and public tenders
  • Manage day-to-day project operations
  • Lead project management efforts to successfully execute projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget
  • Present research findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
  • Create and administer questionnaires, conduct workshops with clients, and analyze data to derive meaningful insights
  • Control of reports, status reports, technical reports, results reports and graphics
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, for example with federal offices, universities and other public institutions

These are the essentials you’ll need to be successful:

  • Master's degree in Social Research or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in this field
  • Experience in working with data, demonstrating the ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets effectively
  • Experience of working with MS Office and data programs such as SPSS or R Ability to successfully implement complex research projects with a wide range of participants within the agreed budget and time frame
