Job summary –
The Role
This is a role on the Compliance team within the Governance department working to deliver first class compliance advice and operational support to the business. This role reports into the Compliance Manager (UK) and works closely with the Compliance Support Coordinator (India).
Role would suit someone with demonstrable governance or compliance advisory and administration experience. The successful candidate will be expected to exercise good judgement and discretion and provide a proactive service to our internal and external stakeholders.
What will I be delivering?
You will action all aspects of our compliance policies and processes, including conducting annual reviews and updates as well as advising and educating our internal stakeholders (other business areas) about compliance at YouGov.
Day-to-day you can expect to be leading the supplier approval process (“SAP”), RFIs response process (“RFI process”), mandatory training enforcement and responding to queries from other business areas on compliance matters. You will be responsible that the Supplier Approval process and RFI process run efficiently.
You will also hold responsibility for executing and coordinating assigned Governance projects, and proactively seek and recommend compliance and efficiency enhancements.
Examples of other areas the role will cover include:
- Being the go-to person for the global business for advice on compliance processes and policies;
- Drafting and maintaining accurate records of compliance processes;
- Supporting embedding new compliance practices into the business;
- Delivering training on compliance processes to wider business;
- Representation of Compliance on local level;
- Supporting development and enforcement of internal controls, incl. management of the mandatory training enforcement programme;

Demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Ability to liaise confidentially at all levels and to act with discretion
- Significant multi-year demonstrable administration skills in a compliance or governance function
- Demonstrable experience drafting and interpreting policies and procedures to give high quality advice to stakeholders.
- Experience in development and application of internal control frameworks desirable
