As our Senior ESG Manager, you’ll be at the helm of driving impactful environmental, social, and governance initiatives that shape the future of our business. This high-visibility role offers the chance to work closely with the C-Suite and senior management, making a tangible difference in areas like social initiatives, environmental management, and corporate partnerships. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you’ll play a pivotal role in our success, guiding our efforts in a company that values giving the world a voice.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Driving the business to complete the ESG Roadmap objectives
- Develop new ESG initiatives and ESG Roadmap objectives that are in keeping with our strategy, business model and culture
- Keep stakeholder groups well informed on ESG activities (including employees, the Board of Directors and investors)
- Manage the collation of high-quality data for ESG disclosures (e.g. TCFD, SECR, ESOS and CSRD reporting)
- Draft and execute the publication of ESG reporting (e.g. annual ESG Report, UK Pay Gap Report), working with in-house or external design and communications teams
- Management of YouGov’s corporate and industry memberships
These are the essential you will need to get an interview:
- 3-5 years of experience driving ESG initiatives in a business
- Demonstrable knowledge of ESG management in a multinational business
- Familiarity with SECR, TCFD and CSRD
- Excellent written communications with proven experience of corporate reporting you have authored. This might include ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, or other relevant documents that showcase your ability to articulate complex ideas effectively
It would be great if you had these too, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Experience in sustainability portals (e.g. CDP, Ecovadis, Hellios)
- Line management experience
