Role Overview


As part of our growth strategy, YouGov Australia is consistently searching for dynamic individuals for our Research Executive and Research Manager roles in Sydney and Melbourne. These positions are crucial for overseeing and delivering high-quality research projects aligned with our clients' strategic goals. Ideal candidates will possess a robust background in market research, proficiency in quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies and a commitment to innovation and excellence.


Some of your key responsibilities will usually include:

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior researchers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Craft C-Suite Ready Reports: Provide insightful analysis crucial to the research and data needs of top executives.
  • Innovate and Improve: Continuously enhance our processes to scale our business and accommodate a growing client base.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored research solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Deliver Game-Changing Insights: Produce high-quality reports that enable clients to make transformative business decisions.
  • Methodological Innovation: Introduce and implement innovative research methodologies to enhance data collection and analysis processes.

Qualifications and experience will usually include:

  • Bachelor's Degree qualified in a related discipline (e.g., Marketing, Management, Statistics, Psychology, Consumer Behavior, etc.) 
  • Proven experience in market research, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale research projects.
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using advanced statistical software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
