The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving YouGov’s growth in Thailand by marketing and selling our innovative products and solutions. You will work closely with various internal departments to achieve your sales goals and generate new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our Sales team, reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for achieving your individual revenue target by:

  • Actively identifying and engaging with new potential customers to promote our innovative products and solutions.
  • Proactively prospecting, qualifying, and exploring new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, focusing on renewals and up-selling opportunities.
  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations of our solutions to potential clients.
  • Taking ownership of your personal sales targets and driving efforts to achieve them.
  • Collaborating with other business units to develop comprehensive solutions for your clients.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong understanding of marketing issues related to consumer brands in Thailand.
  • At least 3 years of business development or sales experience.
  • Proven track record in sales with a customer-first approach.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Strong project management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Thai.
  • Ability to present to senior management effectively.

Behavioral Competencies

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong listening skills to accurately capture client interests.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • People management experience is preferred.
