Global Social Media Manager (Specialization: LinkedIn)

At YouGov, we are seeking a Global Social Media Manager who excels at leveraging social media as a marketing powerhouse, with a particular focus on LinkedIn. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep marketing expertise, the ability to understand complex campaign briefs, and the skills to translate them into impactful LinkedIn strategies. You will work closely with regional Field Marketing teams, provide actionable insights, and ensure a consistent, ROI-driven approach to social media marketing.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop a Global Strategy: Design and implement a LinkedIn-centric social media strategy aligned with YouGov’s marketing objectives, ensuring measurable business growth.
- Execute and Optimize Campaigns: Lead LinkedIn initiatives by crafting precise targeting strategies, high-performing ad formats, and engaging creatives. Continuously optimize campaigns to drive engagement and ROI.
- Streamline Processes: Implement efficient workflows for Field Marketing teams across regions, ensuring consistent execution and alignment with global objectives.
- Analyze and Report Performance: Regularly monitor campaign metrics, derive actionable insights, and refine strategies to maximize impact.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with Field Marketing teams to provide guidance on ad copy, creatives, and LinkedIn-specific best practices, ensuring campaigns meet objectives.
- Collaborate with Content, Paid Media, and Creative teams to align messaging and amplify campaigns across channels.
Leadership & Operations
- Manage and mentor a team of two, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
- Oversee the global social media budget, ensuring resource allocation delivers maximum impact.
- Handle a high volume of campaigns with exceptional organizational skills to deliver on time and within budget.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- Proven Expertise in LinkedIn: Minimum of 6 years of experience managing LinkedIn campaigns (organic and paid), with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
- Marketing Campaign Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing briefs, audience targeting, and how to translate strategies into LinkedIn assets and campaigns.
- Process-Oriented Leadership: Demonstrated ability to implement and streamline processes across multiple teams and regions.
- Analytical Skills: Deep understanding of social media analytics, the ability to derive actionable insights, and a track record of improving ROI.
- Content & Creative Insight: Expertise in identifying high-performing ad formats, creatives, and copy for LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Oktopost).
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to handle a large workload, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work with multiple teams to ensure alignment and campaign success.
- Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets to deliver maximum impact.
