As a Senior Research Executive at YouGov, you'll be at the heart of delivering cutting-edge market research solutions to some of the UK and world’s leading Financial Services clients. You’ll take the lead in designing, managing, and executing research projects that influence business decisions for your clients.
In this role, you will collaborate with clients to understand their strategic goals, help design and run innovative research methodologies, and provide actionable insights. With your expertise in quantitative research, you’ll be responsible for analysing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings that truly resonate.
You’ll work closely with a talented team of researchers, mentoring junior staff and ensuring the highest standards of research excellence. If you thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment, are driven by curiosity, and love using data to make a real difference, we want you on our team!
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Work on end-to-end execution of research projects, from assistance with proposal writing and project setup, to reporting and presentation.
- Analyse and interpret data to deliver compelling insights and recommendations.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on research strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
- Have a solid knowledge of other YouGov products and methods to be able to talk to clients about these, and also pull together different elements of multi-method projects.
- Ensure client satisfaction and to always represent YouGov in a professional and ethical manner.

- Proven experience in market research with a strong grasp of quantitative methods.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong client management skills and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
- A passion for storytelling through data and a natural curiosity about market trends.
- Interest in playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of market research!
It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Experience of Financial Services sector desirable but not essential
- Experience of working with multiple internal departments for the smooth running of projects e.g. project management, analytics, scripting, panel, coding, data processing, charting, finance.
- Use and understanding of questionnaire scripting software
- SPSS experience
- Experience of advanced analytics
- Experience of costing projects and proposal writing
