As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at YouGov, you’ll be the first point of contact with potential customers, playing a key role in generating new business opportunities. You will focus on identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to help drive our sales pipeline. You will work closely with our Account Executives and Sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and contribute to the company’s overall growth goals.

In the midterm, as you acquire more expertise in all YouGov’s tools and data, you will be potentially promoted to a Junior sales position and incorporate new responsibilities, such as supporting sales efforts, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with senior sales managers and other departments to drive revenue and meet sales targets while developing your skills and gaining valuable experience in the sales field.


Key SDR Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media to identify and engage potential customers.
  • Qualify inbound leads and determine their readiness to move through the sales process.
  • Research target accounts and industries to develop tailored outreach strategies.
  • Set appointments for Account Executives, ensuring seamless handoffs for continued engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Salesforce) to track outreach efforts, lead status, and sales activity.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns and support lead generation initiatives.
  • Continuously learn about YouGov's products/services and market trends to have informed conversations with prospects.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for meetings booked and pipeline generated.
  • Report on sales activity and provide feedback for improvement in processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage prospects.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills to identify leads and tailor outreach effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.) a plus.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a sales environment.
  • Languages: Spanish native level, English proficiency level. Other Spanish languages, such as Catalan, are a plus.
  • Previous knowledge in market research would be a great plus.
  • Location: Barcelona area
