At YouGov, we don't just collect data—we connect it. We are an international data and analytics group with the vision to become an integral part of the global internet infrastructure, akin to how Google is for search or Amazon is for retail. Our approach is built on a virtuous circle: a highly engaged online panel, innovative data collection methods, and powerful analytics technology that delivers valuable insights.

As a Research Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the US Research Team by independently managing various aspects of the project lifecycle. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international environment, collaborating with like-minded professionals who are passionate about generating success. This role offers the opportunity to engage directly with data and deliver impactful results to clients across different sectors.

We believe that when people participate in decisions made by the institutions that serve them, those decisions improve. That’s why we’ve created a global online community where millions of people and thousands of organizations can engage in continuous conversations about their beliefs, behaviours, and brands, providing a more accurate portrait of what the world thinks

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, guiding them through the research process and aligning surveys with their objectives.
  • Design, script, and refine survey questionnaires while ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver results to clients and communicating effectively what the research shows, including taking clients through Crunch, our powerful online data tool, ensuring a high standard of quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Manage all stages of Omnibus and Field & Tab projects, including testing survey links, formatting tables, and reviewing press releases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Thoroughly review data for inconsistencies and ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy.
  • Contribute to a dynamic, global team. Bring fresh ideas and seize opportunities for career development and growth.

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

  • 1-2 years of experience (work or academic) in market research, marketing, data analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical skills and prior experience in database analysis, including handling data from various research formats.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of statistics, with solid problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to succeed
