Here’s a summary of the role:  

Join our team as a Senior Research Executive! With 3+ years of experience, you'll design surveys, manage projects from start to finish, analyze real time quantitative data, and present key findings clients based within the MENA region.  

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff): 

Sample & Questionnaire design:

• Design questionnaires and sample frames which uphold the principles of accuracy and clarity in order to best meet client objectives
• Understand and apply the principles of good questionnaire design and test programmed surveys
• Use communication skills to understand client’s objectives and ensure the research design addresses them

Survey implementation & Project Management:

• Work with teammates and other departments to design and run projects from start to finish
• Manage all projects elements from A to Z while adhering to project timelines – these include questionnaire development, translations, testing survey links, survey setup, monitoring fieldwork, data processing and reporting
• Work on multiple projects at different stages simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines and being the day-to-day point of contact for your clients
• Write proposals which are effective, concise and accurately communicate all relevant project parameters to potential clients
• Work-flow planning, organizing and troubleshooting issues with support teams – including scripting, fieldwork, data processing and finance
• Cost basic projects unassisted, and work closely with line manager for larger/complex proposals

Data analysis and presentation:

• Check data tables, reports and client deliverables to ensure accuracy
• Prepare summary reports in PowerPoint to identify key findings from research
• Accurately interpret data, employing attention to detail and knowledge of statistics to recognise when findings are inaccurate or unclear

Subject knowledge and commercial awareness

• Develop basic industry sector/subject knowledge required to carry out specific projects, with the opportunity to develop areas of expertise in the future
• Possess a natural curiosity and interest in the clients’ operating environment, and use knowledge gained from this to inform better research design
• Understand and, where relevant, communicate the whole of YouGov’s offerings to clients

Organisational management: 

• Ensure client satisfaction and represent YouGov in a professional and ethical manner at all times
• Operate with a strong commercial awareness in order to minimise exposure and ensure quality business is being generated and retained
• To ensure all reporting and management requests are accurate and delivered on time

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

• 3+ years of quantitative research experience in the market research industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as an ability to learn and other technology platforms with ease
• Comfortable at analysing numbers, producing insights and visually simplifying data for presentations
• Strong interpersonal skills – a good communicator, a strong team player, a self-starter
• Well organized and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
