The Role
(At this time, we are only able to consider applicants who are citizens of Thailand.)
You will market and drive the growth of YouGov’s business, selling our exciting and innovative products and solutions. You will work closely with other senior members of the business development team to generate new business for the Thailand region. You will also collaborate with YouGov’s Research Team to address various clients' research needs.
What will I be delivering?
As a core member of the Business Development Team, you will be working towards reaching an Individual sales target.
You will do this by:
- Actively identifying new potential customers to sell our exciting and innovative products and solutions
- Proactively prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and exploring new potential business opportunities through various business channels such as cold calling, networking events, marketing events, LinkedIn, 11x, etc.
- Working closely with other members of the business development team to arrange client meetings and prepare research proposals in line with clients’ requirements
- Working collaboratively with the Research team to align the client’s brief and expectations, project details, deliverables, cost, etc.
- Actively updating the team and the customer database system (e.g., Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, etc.) on the sales activities that occurs with prospects, clients, etc.
- Contributing compelling ideas on content generation for marketing purposes

Qualifications
Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience
• Sales experience at least 5 years, preferably in data, marketing research, business intelligence, etc.
• Excellent understanding of business issues related to consumer brands or behaviour across Thailand, APAC region and global perspectives
• Comfortable with numbers – our world revolves around data!
Technical Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration/Management, Marketing or related disciplines are preferable
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
Behavioural competencies
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit, aspiring and results-oriented
• You must be a good team player, working across teams with a growth mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English and Thai (preferred) required to excel in this client-facing role
• Ability to persuade, negotiate and work with a high level of autonomy
