Then look no further, we have an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join YouGov, an international online research data and analytics technology group, in our commercial team.

On the graduate programme you will support the commercial team that are responsible for achieving sales targets for a specific group of accounts. Reporting into a Manager, you’ll support specific account management and new business processes and tasks that aid achievement of the team’s core objective.

You will be joining our already successful team of 25 in our London office. This is a hybrid role, so individuals must be able to commute to the London Office 2-3 days a week.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • You’ll support the commercial team(s) in the account planning and prospecting sales process
  • Monitor and record progress made against the team’s targets
  • Maintain day-to-day client relationships
  • Work closely with the Client Services, Finance, Product, Legal and wider commercial teams
  • Support the cross-product proposition & strategy for your team’s territory
  • Support with proposals and client-specific material
  • Help build on YouGov’s reputation amongst clients within your team’s territory

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

  • An interest in the power and use of research & data
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Educated to degree level or other equivalent professional qualification through formal study
  • A great work ethic and attitude to learn on the job

It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:

  • Experience using, and competence in, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience in sales or customer service roles in an office or otherwise
