Here’s a summary of the role:
Being a graduate within the Qualitative team, you will provide support in delivering research on a wide range and type of client – from big media and tech brands through to political organizations and charities.
You will harness your innate curiosity of what motivates people through your work in designing screener to recruit the right people to interviews and assisting with guides to the conversations you will help to facilitate. You will use your ability to analyze and explain complex motivations to others when helping in the summarization and reporting of the research you’ve helped to collect.
You will be a crucial part of a fun, energetic and welcoming team. You will be supporting them in undertaking genuinely interesting work, facilitating the team to allow people to have a voice in the decisions that impact their lives.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- You will apply your organization skills in:
- Creating and testing screeners to recruit the best people to interview on a given subject
- Uploading data and analysing it in our AI platform
- Selecting the best people to take part in research projects
- Over time, conducting qualitative interviews with respondents online through video calls, text focus groups and online communities
- Assisting in the analysis of qualitative interviews conducted by others, using analysis grids to note key points and quotes
- Contribute to, and help quality control reporting, case studies and the making of short thematic films – bringing the story alive for clients
- Other duties may be required as part of this role
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- A natural curiosity in what motivates other people
- Degree qualified in a related subject (e.g. a social science, English, Humanities, history)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to self-organize and self-manage
- Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills
- A proactive approach
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands and a changing workloads
- Great communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-country team
It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Proficient use of Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Understanding of qualitative research methods
- Experience of writing PPT reports
- Eye for design and creativity
