Here’s a summary of the role:
YouGov is looking for a Graduate Product Manager to join the Member Platform team, supporting the development of products and experiences that shape the journey of millions of members across 55 markets worldwide.
This is a hands-on learning opportunity where you’ll rotate through different teams within the Member Platform domain, gaining exposure to member acquisition, trust & identity, participation, reward & recognition, and data & insights. You’ll work closely with experienced product managers, engineers, designers, and analysts, assisting in the delivery of impactful projects while developing a deep understanding of what it takes to build and scale consumer-facing digital products.
The Team
We’re a fast-moving, growth-focused team that thrives on curiosity and continuous learning. We value problem-solving, adaptability, and a willingness to experiment—recognizing that learning from mistakes is part of building great products.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
As a Graduate Product Manager, you’ll gain experience across all areas of product management by assisting and supporting the team in:
- Understanding Users – Helping to research member needs, pain points, and behaviours, using both qualitative and quantitative data. You’ll sit in on user interviews, analyse data, and contribute to insights that shape the roadmap.
- Prioritisation & Roadmap Planning – Supporting product managers in defining priorities and structuring roadmaps. You’ll help refine ideas, contribute to discussions, and learn how decisions are made.
- Defining & Building Products – Working alongside Product Design and Engineering, you’ll assist in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements. You’ll learn how to balance speed, scalability, and user experience.
- Testing & Iteration – Supporting user testing and feedback loops, helping to analyse results, document learnings, and suggest improvements.
- Product Launches – Assisting in the rollout of new features, supporting internal and external communications, and monitoring early performance data.
- Measuring Success – Helping track key metrics, analysing trends, and identifying opportunities to optimize and improve products over time.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- A keen problem solver – You love breaking down complex challenges and thinking through possible solutions.
- Attention to detail – You spot things others miss, whether it’s a data discrepancy, a UX inconsistency, or a process inefficiency.
- Interest in consumer tech – You’re curious about how digital products are built and eager to learn the mechanics behind great user experiences.
- Strong communication skills – You can clearly articulate ideas, ask great questions, and adapt your message to different audiences.
- Analytical mindset – You’re comfortable working with data, whether it’s reviewing user feedback, analysing performance metrics, or learning SQL (no experience required, but a willingness to learn is a plus!).
- A team player – You enjoy collaborating with different teams and value learning from others.
What you’ll gain:
- A rotational experience, working across multiple product areas to develop a well-rounded skillset.
- Mentorship and hands-on learning from experienced product managers, engineers, and designers.
- Exposure to Agile and Lean methodologies in a fast-paced, global environment.
- The chance to contribute to real-world projects that impact millions of users worldwide.
This is an opportunity to learn by doing, in an environment where asking questions, making mistakes, and embracing change are all part of the process. If you're eager to kickstart a career in product management, we'd love to hear from you.
