We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Graduate to join our Product Analytics team. This entry-level position is ideal for graduates or interns with a keen interest in data and analytics in a digital environment.
You will assist the product team members in identifying and tracking usage of our products and services work to inform how users navigate through these products and how different features of these products perform. You will have the opportunity to contribute to enhancements of existing services, and to support the delivery of different initiatives.
The YouGov Platforms team builds consumer and B2B digital products, websites and native mobile apps for Android and iOS used by millions of people around the world. The Product Analytics team makes sure we track usage of these products to inform how users navigate through these products and how different features of these products perform.

The product analytics team provides product teams with the tools to assess the performance of the digital experiences they build.
You’ll get involved from day one, gaining practical work experience alongside on-the-job coaching from your mentor.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Learn: Task-based training across Google’s BI stack: Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Looker Studio and BigQuery
- Learn: Task-based training in analysing transactional / server-side data, stored in company data warehouses, using SQL
- Build: coaching in report building and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders
- Involvement: in digital marketing analytics e.g. analysis of data hosted in CRMs and marketing automation / ad / social media platforms
- Observe: gain an understanding of how product analytics is utilised by a wide array of stakeholders, and how data privacy regulations impact digital analytics
- Communicate: Participate in team meetings, and co-present insight sessions
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- An understanding of what product analytics in a digital environment encompasses, along with a strong interest in analytics and a desire to learn on the job
- An analytical mindset and a passion for digital. Some previous exposure to the technical aspects of websites and apps (e.g. coding) and/or data analysis would be beneficial, but is not essential
- You have recently graduated with a degree in IT, a numerate discipline or social sciences, or are still studying and are available for full time employment
- Basic knowledge of project management tools advantageous (e.g., JIRA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Slack, Zoom etc
- Enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn and contribute
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong curiosity and desire to understand user needs and product development
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- You enjoy collaborating with others to work on challenges
- Willing to gain new knowledge but are not afraid to share your ideas and own point of view
